“Stripes and Laredo Taco Company have been a great addition to our family of brands since they initially joined us back in 2018,” said Joe DePinto, CEO of 7-Eleven in a statement. “We’re excited to welcome the remaining Stripes stores and Laredo Taco Company restaurants to the family.”

7-Eleven, which operates more than 13,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada under different banners, has been boosting its store count both domestically and internationally via acquisitions. The retailer bought 3,900 Speedway stores for $21 billion in August 2020 and purchased the 750-store 7-Eleven Australia chain in December 2023 for $1.1 billion.
