Boots has partnered with RangeMe to help it source new, emerging and diverse brands for its stores. The retailer has been adding new brands to its portfolio and will leverage the partnership to add even more options for its customers.
The partnership will grant Boots access to the more than 200,000 suppliers registered on the RangeMe platform, including SMEs and diverse businesses, in order to support fair and equal chances for them to compete for retail opportunities.
“Our partnership with RangeMe will create a direct route for interesting and innovative brands that cater to our diverse customer base and local communities to reach and pitch to our buying team,” said Steve Ager, Chief Customer and Category Officer at Boots in a statement. “We introduced hundreds of new product brands last year, and we’ve seen many interesting startups launch post-pandemic. We’re looking forward to being able to support these businesses in their success by offering a new way for our buyers to discover them.”
RangeMe also is working with WBA Global Sourcing, part of Walgreens Boots Alliance, to help the retailer expand its private label assortment at the Walgreens, Boots and No7 Beauty Company banners.
