Shopko Optical has partnered with SiteSeer Technologies to harness its suite of analytic tools, with plans to use them for site selection during an upcoming brick-and-mortar expansion phase. The retailer previously worked with SiteSeer in 2019 when it opened 80 new stores in 180 days, and it will once again utilize the solution provider to help reach 50 openings in 2021.
Shopko Optical will access SiteSeer Professional’s maps, trade areas, reports, customer analytics, site scorecards, hot spots, demographics and other tools to help it determine the best locations for new stores.
“Shopko Optical’s goal was to grow and we needed a site selection and mapping tool that would give us the ability to run powerful analytics quickly,” said Donna Capichano, Chief Development Officer at Shopko Optical in a statement. “The tool is powered by our own data and additional third-party data, so it is incredibly useful for us when giving presentations and making decisions.”
