Wally’s Wine & Spirits, a gourmet retail destination that offers wine, artisan cheese, charcuterie and a select menu of California-French food, will debut a new concept from Reuben Brothers at Century Plaza in Los Angeles next year.
Set to open in summer 2025, the new Wally’s concept will feature a 2,500-square-foot interior and a 1,500-square-foot outdoor terrace, creating an open-air dining experience within one of the architectural waterfront spheres in front of the Fairmont Hotel along the Avenue of the Stars.
Full concept details are still under wraps, but the company revealed in a statement that guests can expect an extensive wine list and signature cocktails menu that will be complemented by distinct culinary offerings. “With a knowledgeable team guiding each tasting, guests can look forward to an immersive experience celebrating wine and dining in a relaxed, sophisticated setting,” the company shared.
“Working with David Reuben Jr. to bring a new Wally’s Wine & Spirits concept to Century Plaza has been an exciting opportunity to create something special and new for the Wally’s brand,” said Nicolai Marciano, partner at Wally’s, in a statement. “My family is eager to share our passion for wine and food in a setting that captures everything we love — exceptional wine, great food and a welcoming atmosphere — right in one of LA’s most vibrant and iconic locations.”
Century City Creates an Urban Oasis
This is the latest milestone for Century Plaza, a six-acre development that includes nearly 100,000 square feet of dining, shopping and wellness spaces as well as the Fairmont Hotel & Residences and Park Elm residential towers.
Other landmark destinations will include The Estates, a longevity and wellness clinic, as well as renowned restaurants including Milos, KYU and Sushi Noz. Located near Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive, the development will feature gardens and greenery that will help visually and physically connect Century City to the Westfield Century City Mall, another major commerce destination in LA.
“Century City is emerging as LA’s new downtown, and Century Plaza stands proudly as its anchor,” said David Reuben Jr. of Reuben Brothers in a statement. “Working with Nicolai to bring his fresh vision for Wally’s to this iconic location has been especially rewarding. Century Plaza is transforming into a true luxury haven for living, dining and wellness — an experience that continues to redefine what it means to live in Los Angeles.”
