Clarus Commerce has acquired digital engagement solution provider PrizeLogic in a deal that aims to combine both companies’ core competencies and proprietary technologies. The companies seek to leverage their loyalty, rebate and promotion solutions to help retailers drive engagement.
A recent Clarus Commerce study found that 68% of shoppers believe their loyalty is more difficult to maintain than ever before. The integration of PrizeLogic’s Engage platform into Clarus Commerce solutions is expected to have the following loyalty benefits:
- PrizeLogic’s solutions (points, punch card, multi-action dashboards and rewards) will augment Clarus’s existing loyalty capabilities, while sweepstakes, contests, fire drills and social kickbacks will add additional engagement opportunities;
- The Engage Customer Data Platform will house first-party insights on engagement and purchases from millions of consumers;
- Both companies will bring proven credentials to ensure high levels of data security and privacy compliance; and
- PrizeLogic will add a diverse set of promotions, rebate and gift-with-purchase solutions.
“The acquisition of PrizeLogic represents an incredible opportunity to invest in proprietary technology that will allow us to offer a wider array of services, further deepen our domain expertise and continue to enhance the value proposition of our offering for our clients,” said Tom Caporaso, CEO of Clarus Commerce in a statement. “We are excited to welcome and partner with a highly experienced team with a proven track record of delivering innovative, award-winning solutions to some of the most recognizable brands in the world, and we look forward to collaborating with them as we embark on our next stage of growth.”
