[Update as of Oct. 7, 2025] CardVault by Tom Brady will open its seventh store, and first location in New York City, in SoHo on Oct. 8, housing the retailer’s signature showroom of cards, packs and collectibles, a collector’s lounge where fans can connect and rip packs, and a store-exclusive line of New York City merchandise including apparel, hats and accessories. Brady took an ownership stake in the retailer in February 2025.

“This new flagship brings together the best in trading cards and creates an immersive environment for collectors and fans to connect in the heart of New York City,” said Ed Kane, Co-founder of CardVault by Tom Brady in a statement.

As an authorized dealer for PSA, Beckett and SGC, the SoHo location will offer on-site grading submission services designed to help collectors preserve and elevate their most valuable pieces.

Tom Brady’s Sports Collectibles Retailer to Open Flagship at American Dream

CardVault by Tom Brady will open a flagship location later this month at the American Dream mall in Rutherford, N.J., next to MetLife Stadium, home field for the NFL’s Jets and Giants. The 1,200-square-foot store will offer rare and premium trading cards, authentication services and an exclusive VIP trading experience.

“Bringing CardVault by Tom Brady to American Dream, just steps from MetLife Stadium — home to countless iconic moments in sports — is a significant milestone for us,” said Ed Kane, Co-founder of CardVault in a statement. “With Tom’s vision and American Dream’s unmatched energy, we’re creating a premier hub for fans and the entire sports collecting community.”

This will be the first CardVault store outside Boston and the first to open following Brady’s purchase. It will feature a custom-designed steel vault showcasing sought-after collectible “holy grails” as well as vibrant artwork, sports-centric murals and a one-of-a-kind sculpture by Southern California artist Brett Crawford, who blends art, fashion and street culture in his work.

Brady to Appear at Grand Opening

The store’s April 11 grand opening will feature a conversation between seven-time Super Bowl champ Brady, who purchased his ownership stake in CardVault in February 2025, and CardVault Co-founder Chris Costa, sharing insights on collecting and personal stories behind unique cards, tickets and memorabilia.

CardVault by Tom Brady is an authorized retailer of Topps, Panini, Upper Deck and Fanatics Authentic, and customers will find sealed packs, boxes, individual cards, signed jerseys and equipment as well as the latest Pokémon releases. The store also will serve as an authorized dealer for the collectibles industry’s top grading services, including PSA, Beckett and SGC, simplifying authentication and grading for collectors.

“I’m beyond excited to officially be in the hobby business — not just as a collector, but as a store owner,” said Brady in a statement. “CardVault isn’t just about buying and selling cards; it’s about bringing the passion of collecting to as many people as possible. Collecting is about more than just the cards — it’s about the memories, nostalgia and the connection to the game. I’ve lived it firsthand, and I know how powerful that feeling is.”
