Thirty-One Gifts Selects TXT To Improve Retail Planning Processes

31GiftsThirty-One Gifts, a direct-selling retailer of lifestyle products such as stationary, wallets and tote bags, is implementing the TXT Integrated Retail Planning solution. The retailer currently is leveraging the TXT MAPLE LAKE software to manage in-season planning processes including inventory management and open-to-buy.

“Because of our business model, which relies strongly on sales consultants’ activity and is very much driven by end-of-month sales, managing inventory and SKUs is absolutely critical to us, particularly as we transition seasons,” said Mike Mausteller, Director of Planning and Merchandise Control at Thirty-One Gifts. “We needed to better align our inventory strategies with demand to avoid backorders and additional air freight charges. The TXT Integrated Retail Planning solution is helping us achieve ideal inventory management and optimized product availability.”

Previously, Thirty-One Gifts relied on manual processes and disparate spreadsheets to manage and execute monthly planning efforts. Using the Integrated Retail Planning software, Thirty-One Gifts will be able to plan at a finer style, color and size level, and on a weekly basis. The software provides embedded performance management and dashboards designed to ensure greater transparency across businesses and encourage more accurate, fact-based decisions.
