Steve Madden, a footwear and accessories retailer, is upgrading and expanding its presence across channels with omnichannel solutions from MICROS Systems, a provider of information technologies for the hospitality and retail industries. The goal of the partnership is to improve customer experiences and insights, and increase traffic and conversion in both online and mobile channels, according to a MICROS press release.
The MICROS omnichannel product solution suite includes tools for e-Commerce, order management and CRM ― and will launch cloud POS for the multichannel retailer. The enhanced Steve Madden web site will go live in September 2013.
A major factor in selecting a solutions partner “was ensuring that we are providing a consistent experience for our customers across every touch point,” stated Mark Friedman, President of E-Commerce for Steve Madden. “Regardless of how they interact with us, our customers expect the same level of service.”
