Stadium Goods, a consignment concept marketplace for selling premium footwear, officially opened its doors for business on October 12 with the launch of an e-Commerce site and the opening of a sellers’ Market Center in New York City. The Stadium Goods Retail Store is set to open in New York City on October 16.
Both the e-Commerce site and the retail store, which is located at 47 Howard Street, include a selection of rare and sought-after footwear and apparel specifically designed for sneaker enthusiasts. Stadium Goods currently houses roughly 3,000 styles of shoes, with full-size runs for a majority of the sneakers featured on the store’s walls, according to Footwear News. Brands the retailer sells include Nike, Adidas, Jordan, Supreme, Converse and Asics.
Sneaker sellers can enter the Stadium Goods Market Center to list curated new and unworn sneakers and apparel. Located at 305 Canal Street, the Stadium Goods Market Center is a dedicated consignment location, enabling sellers to meet with staffers who will authenticate and price sneakers.

The retailer will offer in-store pick-up for online purchases, online scheduling for consignment appointments and concierge service for VIP customers.
Stadium Goods is led by co-founders John McPheters and Jed Stiller. SneakerNews.com founder Yu-Ming Wu will serve as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer.
“Sneaker culture is more than just a multi-billion-dollar business, it’s a serious passion for generations of consumers,” said McPheters. “We share that passion and want to innovate the way consumers buy and sell coveted sneakers, apparel and goods — making both experiences more efficient, friendly and interactive. From day one, we will have a direct line to our customers and consignors, addressing their needs in real time, both in-store and online.”
