Revel Systems, a provider of iPad point-of-sale solutions, has selected MokiMobility to roll out mobile and iPad POS systems that meet the latest guidelines set by the PCI Security Standards Council. MokiMobility offers cloud-based strategies for implementing tablets and smartphones as mobile POS devices.
With the new guidelines, released in February 2013, developers, merchants and solution providers must look at the [POS] environment as a whole, not just the mobile POS app itself, noted Tom Karren, CEO of MokiMobility. All players now face “the challenge of diving into the network, the device, the OS, peripherals and other applications.”
As part of the collaboration, Revel Systems will integrate the MokiManage platform into the iPad POS solution to provide end users with monitoring, management and security capabilities across all Revel iPad POS deployments.
