Lights, Camera, Action! Barnes & Noble to Host A24 Films Shop-in-Shops

Barnes & Noble will showcase both bestsellers and new products inspired by the intellectual property of A24, the film studio behind Academy Award-winning fare such as Everything Everywhere All at Once and upcoming releases like Marty Supreme. The immersive shop-in-shops will debut this month in nine Barnes & Noble stores in key locations, such as NYC’s Union Square, LA’s The Grove at Farmers Market and the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., with more locations planned for 2026.

The shop-in-shops will be curated by A24 and will feature books, Blu-rays, vinyl, collectibles and exclusive merchandise. The partnership between the two companies includes events such as the recent launch of Eleanor Coppola’s final memoir, Two of Me: Notes on Living & Leaving, featuring a live conversation in-store between Sofia and Roman Coppola, Eleanor’s children with filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, moderated by Vogue editor Keaton Bell.

“Storytelling has always been at the heart of Barnes & Noble, and we’re thrilled to partner with A24, the home for storytelling on screen,” said Bill Castle, Director of Media at Barnes & Noble in a statement. “This partnership gives fans another way to experience the stories, films and artists they love.”

In November 2021, Barnes & Noble hosted Paper Shop shop-in-shops in two stores. Both Paper Shop and Barnes & Noble are owned by investment firm Elliott Management. And Barnes & Noble is no stranger to in-store activations. The Barnes & Noble College division and GameSquare joined forces in September 2025 to deliver dynamic collegiate and gaming programming nationwide, designed to engage nearly 6 million students across more than 1,100 physical and virtual campus bookstores.
