Helzberg Diamonds has completed an upgrade to its Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Sale solution while implementing Oracle Retail Order Broker and Oracle Retail Customer Engagement. The updated infrastructure will allow associates to provide a more seamless sales experience to customers and enable the retailer to better support store operations and deeper customer interactions.
The improvements were made with the support of BTM Global, a provider of retail system integration and development services. Helzberg will continue to integrate Oracle Retail technology with third-party solutions to create a unified shopping experience across its more than 200 U.S. stores.
“The Oracle solutions enable our store associates to consult with shoppers throughout the store,” said Jeff Rohr, CIO at Helzberg Diamonds in a statement. “The vision is to make it easier to complete transactions and allow customers to interact with us on their terms.”

Helzberg has been making other technological investments as well. The retailer recently joined three jewelry industry suppliers and third-party administrator UL to launch the TrustChain Initiative, the first jewelry industry blockchain. The initiative will let Helzberg authenticate diamonds and precious metals through every stage of the supply chain.
