Fluid Rolls Out Isaay.com, Provides a “Virtual Closet,” Social Sharing And Interactive Item Viewing

Digital shopping innovator Fluid, Inc., announced the release of Isaay.com, a new e-Commerce web site for women’s fashion that is powered by Fluid Experience, the company’s imaging and interactive merchandising module. The site offers consumers a virtual closet wish list called “My Loves,” social sharing and shopper reviews as well as high resolution, 360-degree interactive viewing for items available in the store. “Fluid’s team brought an expertise in design and user experience as well as digital shopping technology that enabled us to expand the functionality and scope of Isaay.com quickly,” said Gary Shar, CEO and Founder of Isaay.com in a press release. “Most exciting are the new features and functions such as our expanded Trend Area, lookbooks, outfit pages, a designer boutique and other enhancements that will really set us apart.” The foundation of the web site is provided by Demandware’s SiteGenesis pre-built storefront app. Fluid developed a Demandware adapter designed to integrate with the Demandware Commerce platform and shorten development time. “The new Isaay site is a great example of what happens when a highly branded fashion retailer meets a great design agency that is working with the right platform,” said Jamus Driscoll, VP of Marketing for Demandware. “With our partner Fluid, Demandware looks forward to serving Isaay through its next phase of growth and beyond.” In August 2011, Fluid helped retailer Elie Tahari create a branded interactive e-Commerce web site for desktop and mobile shoppers. The web site’s launch marked the debut of Fluid Experience for mobile.
