Discount variety retailer Family Dollar has expanded its partnership with consumer behavior and data company Nielsen to improve its analytics capabilities.
Nielsen will now be the architect and exclusive provider of Family Dollar’s custom product hierarchy and Trading Area — the geographic area from which a community generates the majority of its customers. With the help of Nielsen, Family Dollar aims to create new exclusive trading areas and a retail-defined hierarchy.
The partnership will give Family Dollar access to:
