CPO Commerce, an online tool retailer that manufactures and sells its products through a network of 40 independent brand stores, has selected pricing intelligence provider 360pi to bolster its focus on product matching and pricing data accuracy.
In July 2015, CPO Commerce selected Revionics to optimize pricing decisions based on shopper behaviors and competitive factors. With 360pi, CPO Commerce now has a price and product intelligence solution that it can integrate into the Revionics platform.
“We recognize that the value of price optimization is only as good as the underlying data, and with refurbishments a core part of our business, accurate product matching can be extremely difficult,” said Girisha Chandraraj, SVP and Chief Digital Officer at Essendant and Chief Operating Officer for CPO Commerce.

In addition to integrating 360pi with the Revionics price optimization solution, CPO Commerce also wanted Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) monitoring support as part of the offering. MAP monitoring support will be applied to approximately 20% of the brands CPO sells on its e-Commerce sites.
“Effective MAP monitoring can be extremely elusive with differential in-cart pricing that can change at any time,” said Chandraraj. “We recognized the immediate business value of 360pi’s MAP alert functionality, which literally identified dozens of violations for a single brand upon implementation, and kept a history for future reference.”
