Beyond Yoga has opened its first permanent store on the East Coast in Greenwich, Conn. The 2,760-square-foot store, the retailer’s largest selling space, features Beyond Yoga’s complete assortment of women’s, men’s and maternity collections, according to Fashion Network and other media outlets.
The retailer is planning to open additional East Coast stores in Boston and Westport, Conn. as well as a location in Marin, Calif. later this year.
The Greenwich store design features an open layout grounded in natural materials and a preserved historic window that fills the fitting area with natural light. A dedicated outdoor patio will host community events and workout classes.
Beyond Yoga was acquired by Levi Strauss & Co. in 2021 and debuted its first brick-and-mortar store in October 2022 in Santa Monica, Calif. The brand is part of a growing cohort of apparel labels disrupting the world of athletic apparel, and its geographic expansion is certainly a sign of Beyond Yoga’s ambition to play a larger role in the competitive athleisure sector.
