Attune Integrates Two Bauer Brands With SAP Platform

Global solutions provider attune Consulting announced that it has partnered with Bauer Performance Sports to help implement the SAP Apparel and Footwear (AFS) 6.5 platform into the company’s two lacrosse businesses.

The platform connects the two brands — Maverik and Cascade — so that they both can meet the seasonal deadlines associated with the sport. SAP AFS also integrates the product management systems of both companies in order to meet consumer demands more efficiently.

Bauer acquired Maverik Lacrosse in 2010, and Cascade Helmets in 2012, looking to gain a brand presence in one of the fastest growing sports in North America. Because the two brands were managing production, inventory and sales distribution on varying platforms, Bauer opted to implement an integrated platform in order to properly measure and handle the day-to-day business routine. The end result was a seamless platform that provided insight into the business routines of both companies
