Capillary Technologies Raises $14 Million In Series B Funding

, a cloud-based marketing platform solution provider, has secured $14 million in Series B funding to further improve the company’s marketing platform and develop its partnership ecosystem. Current partners include Blue Label Engage in South Africa and the American Express US Global Merchants Services group.

This round of funding round was led by Sequoia Capital and Northwest Venture Partners (NVP).  Capillary also received $17 million in Series A Funding in 2012.

Capillary’s Intelligent Customer Engagement™ (ICE) suite of software solutions provides retailers with customer data management, insights and personalized engagement across channels. “Retailers realize a 15% increase in Average Basket Value and 30% increase in their customer retention rate by implementing our solutions, which is the reason we continue to grow so rapidly around the world,” said Aneesh Reddy, Co-Founder and CEO of Capillary Technologies.

Reddy added: “By harnessing the power of Capillary’s Intelligent Customer Engagement™ Suite, retail marketers are forming successful and personalized relationships with their customers based on insights from our customer analytics platform across multiple channels.”

Along with the round of funding, Capillary Technologies also has announced a new partnership with Agilysys, a developer and marketer of proprietary enterprise software and solutions for the hospitability industry. Through this partnership, Capillary will be working with current Agilysys customers including global brands such as Marks & Spencer, KFC, Lacoste, Keedo and Courts.
