Walmart has integrated tech support from Asurion Retail Solutions into its Product Care Plan offering, enabling customers who purchase a new device to receive 30 days of Soluto premium tech support help at no additional charge.
In integrating Soluto into its protection plan, the retail giant aims to ease any potential post-purchase confusion that comes with device set-up and help reduce customer frustration this holiday season.
The tech support service is designed to provide consumers with one-click instant access to a U.S.-based Soluto expert, via phone or live chat, to help solve technology issues that customers may have with their insured device.

Products eligible for Walmart Product Care Plans include televisions, smartphones, laptops, tablets, desktop computers and networked devices.
Walmart Product Care Plans provide protection from:

Mechanical and electrical failures;

Failures due to drops, spills and cracked screens for portable electronics;

Breakdowns including those due to normal wear and tear;

Damage due to dust, heat and humidity;

Power surges; and

Defects in materials and workmanship.
Eligible products may be protected with a Walmart Product Care Plan within 30 days after the date of purchase.
