Tory Burch Returns to its Roots With New Manhattan Store

Tory Burch has opened a new boutique on Mercer Street in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, near where the retailer opened its first location in 2004. The shop will feature a chandelier by artist Francesca DiMattio and a metalwork inlaid Tree of Life along the stairs, as well as a backyard garden designed by Miranda Brooks, according to Architectural Digest.

The store will feature a full range of Tory Burch products, including homeware such as pitchers and tureens, as well as a limited edition collection of Lee Radziwill Double Bags exclusive to the location. These will be presented in a space with oak and ceramic flooring, given a nostalgic feel with the addition of hung woven baskets — an homage to Burch’s childhood home — and a wicker structure designed to look like a bee apiary.
