Fashion retailer Rue21 is bringing a new CIO on to its revamped leadership team. Scott Saeger, who will take on the role starting Sept. 11, 2023, is joining the business after more than five years at GNC, where he led several transformational projects, including the implementation of digital sales and consulting tools for associates.
Saeger’s extensive career includes leadership roles at 1-800-Flowers, Hewlett-Packard, ExxonMobil, and Laura Mercier. He will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Rue21 business applications and operations, integration of ecommerce and back-office platforms, B2B and B2C initiatives and maintenance of retail.
