Floral gifting brand 1-800-Flowers.com is moving beyond flower delivery with plans for a range of new products, including lawn and garden items as well as outdoor accessories. The expansion will be facilitated by the company’s new brand licensing agent, Surge Brands, which will work to turn the delivery service into not just a Mother’s Day go-to but also a “premier lifestyle brand.”

Surge Brands will now seek partners to bring the 1-800-Flowers brand to a host of new products, leveraging its strong awareness in North American households. 1-800-Flowers had more than 10 million customers and delivered more than 100 million stems in its 2024 fiscal year, creating a ready-made audience for complementary products.

“Our goal is to translate 1-800-Flowers.com’s extraordinary emotional connection with consumers into product experiences that bring the brand’s spirit of giving, celebration and connection into more parts of everyday life,” said Ari Freedman, VP of Licensing at Surge Brands in a statement. “We see tremendous opportunity to grow the brand through meaningful, high-quality partnerships that reflect the warmth, creativity and innovation 1-800-Flowers.com is known for.”

“We’re excited to partner with Surge Brands to bring the 1-800-Flowers.com brand to life in new and inspiring ways,” said Abhay Patel, Brand President of 1-800-Flowers.com in a statement. “This partnership allows us to deepen our customer relationships with thoughtfully designed products that reflect our heritage of innovation and emotional expression.”
