#RIC19 Hudson Yards Store Tours: The Front Lines of Next-Gen Retailing

Memorable experiences are table stakes in today’s retail environment, so truly standing out requires giving shoppers something that simply can’t be replicated elsewhere. Hudson Yards, New York City’s newest shopping destination, has taken this lesson to heart with five floors and 70 tenants dedicated to shopping, leisure and culture.

As part of its fifth annual Retail Innovation Conference, Retail TouchPoints partnered with Retail Store Tours to give 92 industry executives an exclusive, in-depth look at nine of the destination’s hottest stores and venues. While the building may seem intimidating, the overall experience is meant to be accessible and varied, with similar experiences grouped by level for easy navigation.

Stores on the tour ranged from e-Commerce pure plays’ first physical locations to massive brand flagships. The retailers included were:

  • Brooks Brothers;
  • B8ta;
  • Batch;
  • The Drug Store;
  • Lululemon;
  • Verizon Wireless;
  • Micro Kickboard;
  • 3DEN; and
  • Neiman Marcus.
