Resale marketplace StockX has become consumers’ go-to for sought-after products that they had originally missed out on. As such the platform is plugged into pop culture, and in particular sneaker culture, so StockX’s Big Facts: 2024 Trends offers a revealing look at what consumers were craving this year:
- The Stanley tumbler craze didn’t die down throughout the year, with the popular drinkware brand achieving an 86% price premium year-to-date on the resale marketplace;
- As Nike struggled to find its footing this year, Puma and Asics saw their popularity skyrocket. Asics was the fastest-growing searched sneaker brand on StockX in 2024, with trades for the brand’s products up a whopping 1,000% year-over-year. And Puma has plenty to be proud of as well, with a 200% increase in searches for its brand this year.
