Pitney Bowes, a location intelligence technology provider, has released the Software and Data Marketplace. The platform enables data buyers to visualize, test and download data before it is purchased.
The Marketplace will provide users with data catalogs for sample categorical data, such as address, boundary, demographic, geoenrichment, point of interest and street data. With this data, clients can develop a deep understanding of their customers in order to better manage risk, improve decision making and increase customer engagement.
Additionally, a Software Development Kit (SDK) is available through the Marketplace. It allows users to receive products and updates automatically. The solution enables data sets across the retail, insurance, real estate and financial services industries.
With the Software and Data Marketplace, users also can:
- Understand the location and impact of competitors on retail performance;
- Ensure the right number of stores are in the most profitable locations; and
- Analyze geo-demographics, market characteristics, local customer behavior and more for data-driven insight.
