Avery Dennison has launched the Monarch Pathfinder 6059 RFID, a tool that offers portable RFID encoding. This can be used to reduce inaccuracies and missing markdowns and help retailers manage their inventory across the supply chain.
The Monarch Pathfinder 6059 combines the ability to scan, encode, print and apply in one device, letting retailers add RFID to all items in the store, including existing merchandise that wasn’t tagged at the source and returned items. Adding RFID to items that aren’t already encoded lets them become part of real-time inventory counts and can help with omnichannel fulfillment.
Giving associates access to this information lets them handle promotional labeling with greater speed and accuracy, cutting down on the time spent on the task. RFID also can help labeling accuracy reach up to 97%.
