View Technologies is partnering with ThingWorx to enable real-time inventory tracking without the need for handheld scanners. Using Echo smart antennas, retailers can identify, locate and track all RAIN RFID tagged items within 150 feet to get real-time, item-level visibility.
“The inView and Echo solution locates assets quickly by eliminating handheld scanners, increasing inventory accuracy while enhancing customer engagement and loss prevention,” said Steve Hudson, president of View Technologies in a statement.

The collaboration will allow the Echo smart antennas and inView Software Platform to:
- Track shipments as they enter or leave the dock;
- Keep tabs on the flow of product locations in stores;
- Identify misplaced items on the sales floor; and
- Improve loss prevention.
