PurCotton Deploys Solutions To Support Omnichannel Growth

PurCotton, a Chinese manufacturer and retailer of cotton-based products, has deployed the Oracle Retail Merchandise Operations Management Suite, Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization solution and Oracle Retail Insights to support the growth of its retail business.

Founded in 2009, the company operates 114 stores in shopping malls across China as well as an online business. PurCotton also sells goods at TMALL.com and JD.com, two of China’s largest e-Commerce platforms. The implementation of Oracle’s retail solutions will help the company scale and serve as a foundation for omnichannel growth.

“We plan to open between 30 and 40 stores every year, with a goal of increasing our total revenue 100% annually, said Li Jianquan, Managing Director of PurCotton Group in a statement. “Our core customer base has grown to about six million. We needed a strong foundation to run our retail business. Oracle Retail has the industry experience and retail specific solutions to support our growth strategy.”
