The NRF Foundation has announced its annual List of People Shaping Retail’s Future, featuring 25 of the best and brightest individuals impacting the retail industry. The honorees will be celebrated on Jan. 14, 2018 at the NRF Foundation Gala during NRF 2018: Retail’s Big Show in NYC.
The Gala, now in its fourth year, brings together industry executives to honor those named to The List and awards scholarships to students working to become the next generation of retail leaders. The NRF also will recognize Walmart President and CEO Doug McMillon as “The Visionary,” an award for leaders spearheading change in the industry.
“An industry as dynamic as retail needs leaders with a range of talents from creatives to humanitarians to entrepreneurs,” said Ellen David, NRF Foundation Executive Director in a statement. “Each person on The List embodies these qualities in some way and is helping to steer the retail industry toward a bright future.”
