KIDBOX has provided more than $12 million in donations of new children’s clothing through its partner Delivering Good, a nonprofit that helps retailers donate new products to charities. Additionally, KIDBOX is enabling its Kids Board of Directors to make their own impact on the world by providing them with $10,000 in clothing for local community outreach efforts.
The subscription retailer’s social mission is to clothe one million children in need, which it pursues by donating a new clothing item to each shopper’s charity of choice every time they purchase a box. Homeless shelters are consistently among the most popular recipients, but KIDBOX regularly updates the options so customers can choose the charity that is right for them.

“Thanks to our partnership with Delivering Good, we’re able to continuously update our seasonal charities to ensure that our customers can donate to relevant causes across the country,” said Miki Berardelli, CEO of KIDBOX in a statement. “This way, we’re able to reach children swiftly and when they need it most. This season in particular, customers can choose to donate to victims of Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael.”
The 12 children on the KIDBOX Kids Board of Directors are running their own community charity events, which will be enhanced by KIDBOX’s donations. Their charitable efforts include a personal trip to Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria, building houses with Build a Miracle and hosting events for homeless children.
