A circular ceiling-mounted digital display capable of alerting shoppers anywhere in the store about brands and promotions is the centerpiece of new signage that has been deployed by the Hudson Group World Duty Free store at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
The retailer also has installed a 42-inch wall mounted touchscreen designed to deliver the same experience as a smartphone or tablet, with content including product information, live departures and arrivals data, weather reports and highly visual curated news and sports summaries. Additionally, 55-inch digital displays around the store are used as digital posters scheduled to run multiple promotions.
The ceiling fixture combines three separate screens to create a ring, and uses the 3mm Nixel Series fine-pitch LED halo display by NanoLumens. The digital signage content is powered by the Engage content management system from ComQi.
