Hospitality Platforms Leverage Epson Solutions

0aepsonPOS solutions provider Epson America has entered into partnerships with platform providers Restaurant Magic and Afterwords, enabling them to use the OmniLink Merchant Services (OMS) platform. Additionally, Food Online Ordering Systems has certified the OmniLink TM-T88VI-i intelligent POS printer to integrate with its self-ordering kiosk implemented within client restaurants’ POS systems.

Restaurant Magic is leveraging OMS to enable clients to eliminate the need to build and maintain integrations to hundreds of POS systems. Additionally, the clients can pull critical details into Restaurant Magic’s Data Central business intelligence solution for faster implementation times and real-time data access.

AfterWords, an intelligent customer engagement and survey system provider, is leveraging the platform to provide guest-centric business intelligence to its customers in the restaurant, hospitality, retail, travel and service industries. The Guest Survey software system will collect information from the Epson OmniLink printer, including details about the guest experience such as specific items purchased, the area where the customer sat or the individual that helped the customer.

Although AfterWords already had integrations with other POS, ERP and CRM software solutions, the company needed a way to get data from older legacy systems. It was able to accomplish this with the Epson OMS Cloud platform.

The Food Online Ordering Systems self-ordering kiosk is designed to enable restaurants to reduce staff and labor expenses by adding customer ordering stations. The company will use the Epson platform’s Server Direct printing feature to push orders placed by customers at the kiosk stations to the restaurant, and to immediately print from cloud servers. Food Online Ordering Systems has previously certified the Epson TM-T88V-i and OmniLink TM-T20II-i intelligent printers.

Restaurant Magic, AfterWords and Food Online Ordering Systems are displaying their joint solutions at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) show taking place May 20-23 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
