Helzberg Diamonds has integrated EMV payments capabilities into its stores, enabling the brand to accept chip cards and support end-to-end payment card encryption. The EMV rollout is part of the retailer’s implementation of the Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service (POS) software.
EMV migration has become a priority for retailers after last year’s October 1 liability shift forced merchants to be held financially accountable for fraudulent payments. In migrating to EMV, Helzberg Diamonds aims to:
