Delivery management platform Bringg and National Retail Services (NRS), a POS platform designed for independent retailers such as convenience stores and bodegas, have partnered to provide home delivery services to smaller businesses. Through Bringg’s Delivery Hub, the partnership will support the sourcing and management of external home delivery services offered by hundreds of carriers for the more than 19,000 NRS retailers across the U.S.
“[We’re excited to join NRS] on their mission to make delivery and fulfillment accessible to the independent stores by enabling the economy of scale with Bringg’s open delivery management platform supporting the NRS marketplace,” said Guy Bloch, CEO of Bringg in a statement. “NRS has an impressive track record of innovation and high growth, and it is great to partner with a brand that shares our purpose of democratizing last mile delivery.”
As larger retailers and big box stores continue to bolster their own delivery services, SMB retailers will be able to compete in a more equitable environment. The smart automated delivery management application simplifies the last mile for independent retailers to deliver through a single application and reduce delivery costs.
“Consumers are steadily migrating to digital channels, and independent neighborhood retailers are in danger of losing out to large retail chains with robust, well-capitalized ecommerce and delivery solutions,” said Elie Y. Katz, President and CEO of NRS in a statement. “Our ecommerce solution allows NRS’ independent retailers to offer their customers digital ordering. Now NRS will integrate with Bringg’s SaaS delivery platform to offer timely local delivery at no cost to the retailer. This is a powerful combination that will enable neighborhood retailers to compete for and win new customers in the digital marketplace.”
