H&M Upgrades U.S. Web Site And Mobile App

Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has launched an improved e-Commerce site and mobile app for U.S. customers. New site and app features include:

  • Visual Search: Customers can search for items by uploading a picture they either took themselves or from a social media platform;
  • Scan & Find: Customers who can’t find an item in their size can scan an item’s price tag to search for size availability and color options on the brand’s site;
  • Rate and Review: Customers can review online purchases on a one-star to five-star scale, and can include additional comments on factors such as the size and fit of the garment; and
  • #HMxME: The inspiration gallery featured on the brand’s site displays style snaps from global fans of H&M who use the hashtag in their social posts.

This fall, H&M will add a “find in store,” option, allowing shoppers to locate an item in the H&M store nearest to them.

The site and app upgrade follows the introduction earlier in 2018 of H&M’s new women’s sizing structure, which is now more reflective of North American standards.
