On-demand taxi service Gett has partnered with payment technology provider Zooz to route global transactions through its payments platform. The Zooz platform will provide the Gett management team with analysis based on customer transactional data that is designed to offer drivers and passengers the best payments routes for international transactions.
With more businesses eyeing global expansion, processing efficient cross-border transactions is becoming more of an imperative.
The growth of on-demand delivery services in retail could be the next trend Zooz moves on, especially as more consumers make online payments to use these services. With more merchants looking to expand their on-demand options, they will require flexible payments platforms that can simultaneously work with numerous financial institutions and third-party services.

“As we continue to scale we realize that the payment process and user experience through our E-wallet is a key factor for our users,” said Tal Brener, CFO of Gett. “The challenge for us is to make the payment process smooth and slick to our authentic and loyal users, while blocking fraudulent activities. The Zooz platform makes payments painless by reducing card declines and fees, and easily integrates additional local payment providers and methods for the benefit of our customers.”
