eForCity, an electronics accessory eTailer, recently became the first eBay seller to receive 3 million positive feedbacks. The success is attributed in part to the merchant’s e-Commerce platform provided by ChannelAdvisor, according to Jack Sheng, CEO of eForCity.
The ChannelAdvisor platform has supported eForCity since 2003, when the merchant shipped just a few thousand orders a day. Currently eForCity processes as many as 100,000 orders a day, “without any downtime,” Sheng reported. “We have a scalable platform that grows with us as we expand our business.” To date, eForCity is the largest eBay merchant, completing more transactions than any other seller.
In addition to operating the eForCity web site, the company also sells through other online stores, including Amazon.com and Buy.com. “Because our e-Commerce tool supports all platforms, when new marketplaces are created, we are able to instantly integrate,” said Sheng in an interview with Retail TouchPoints. “This enables us to realize our full potential in terms of customer access.”
