DSW has completed the rollout of its DSW Kids program, which features a range of brands and styles in infant, toddler and youth sizes, in time for the back-to-school season. More than half of the 25 million DSW VIP Rewards members have at least one child in their household, according to DSW COO Michele Love.
The shoe and accessory retailer added DSW Kids departments to 109 locations in Q1 2018 and will add another 94 in Q2 2018, according to Footwear News. The updated stores feature DSW associates who have been specially trained in fitting children’s footwear. DSW operates a total of more than 500 stores nationwide.
DSW will offer a larger selection of children’s footwear online, where the retailer will leverage True Fit technology to help customers make sure they order the correct size. The solution provider offers software that helps apparel retailers offer shoppers smart size recommendations.
