  • Coupon code offers on the home page: automatically displaying discounted prices for coupon-applicable items;

  • Exit offers: allowing retailers to make offers to online visitors who leave without making a purchase;

  • A loyalty catalog: enabling retailers to integrate loyalty with their e-Commerce sites and mark products online as loyalty-redeemable;

  • Product preordering: enabling retailers to set up pages for soon-to-be available items, take orders, and specify product launch date, price and limit quantity;

  • Bonus buys: enabling retailers to integrate eCommerce with promotions;

  • One page checkout; and

  • Multistore: enabling retailers to create separate URLs for different products or categories.

“A retailer that optimizes its e-Commerce channel can see returns in lower shopping cart abandonment and higher conversions, but also may see increases in sales across the organization as customers continue to use e-Commerce channels for research before going to a physical store to make purchases,” said Paula Da Silva, Senior VP of CitiXsys in a statement.

iVend 6.5 Update 2 includes added features such as:

  • POS Interface Designer: allowing retailers to create terminal and mobile POS interface layouts based on business needs and branding preferences;

  • Receipt Designer: allowing users to create and modify receipt layouts using a graphical user interface, negating the need to edit the XML file for receipt layouts;

  • Offline TPOS for iVend Cloud: enabling retailers toconfigure and connect the terminal POS to a hosted/cloud store;

  • iVend Cloud Control Center: a tenant management tool for partners that host iVend in a data center;

  • Enhancements to the Product Dashboard, which include multiple new widgets such as total sales; stock cover; sale and refund; online versus store; available stock and value; ordered and fulfilled quantity; product category and contribution; and profit margin and percentage; and

  • Enhancements to the Customer Dashboard, which include widgets such as total sales; loyalty level and loyalty points; customer balances; last 10 transactions; sale and refund; net sale by product group; online versus store sale; average sale amount; and last visited store.
