Bright Society Service Brings Exposure To Independent Brick-and-Mortar Jewelers

Earlier this month, White Pine Trading, a diamond and jewelry wholesaler, launched Bright Society, an e-Commerce site designed to provide a platform for small, independent jewelers across the U.S. to sell directly to consumers.

Bright Society aggregates inventory from brick-and-mortar jewelers and luxury watch sellers in a move designed to increase participating retailers’ customer base and sales.

The company’s free Product Concierge service enables Bright Society to act as a “personal shopper” for consumers seeking out specific watches and jewelry that are not presently sold on the site. Shoppers can fill out a form detailing an item and upload an image to accompany the description so that Bright Society can search its network of authenticated jewelers to find it.

Jewelers that participate on the site receive photography kits with a light box, style guide, photo accessories and an app that enables them to take the photos with their phones.

Bright Society also provides branded packaging, shipping labels, customer service and listing copy, and conducts a vetting process on stock. The web site provides free shipping and returns with a 30-day return policy.
