BlueSnap has expanded its local payment processing capabilities to help partner merchants sell more products in North America.
With the most recent expansion of its Powered Buy Platform, BlueSnap enhanced local acquiring into Latin America and Canada. In Latin America, the cost to sell locally can be cost prohibitive with up to 30% of a sale going to processing fees, taxes, etc. BlueSnap’s processing is designed to let merchants sell into Latin America at one-third of the cost, while maximizing conversions and coverage of alternative payment types and local cards.
In November 2015, BlueSnap launched the Powered Buy Platform, a mobile solution designed to eliminate friction during the checkout process. The Powered Buy Platform enables merchants to integrate a consolidated API and a single underwriting process.

The platform integration enables merchants to connect to multiple acquiring banks, and includes a failover mode to maximize payment authorizations.
