Attention book lovers (and remaining sellers) of Manhattan: Amazon may be planning to take its first bite of the Big Apple.
Amazon Books will open its first physical location on the East Coast in Manhattan’s $20 billion Hudson Yards megadevelopment in late 2018 or early 2019, according to a report in the New York Post.
The e-Commerce giant opened its first brick-and-mortar bookstore in Seattle late in 2015, and according to the Post has plans to open a San Diego location. Amazon, however, has not officially confirmed any plans for a New York City store.

Rumors flew earlier this year that the retailer would be opening hundreds of stores in the future. However, the source for this news came from a mall real estate executive with no official ties to Amazon, and were not confirmed by the company itself.
