Albertsons Partners With Recall InfoLink To Reduce Impact Of Product Recalls

Albertsons, a privately-owned supermarket chain with more than 180 stores in seven states, has partnered with Recall InfoLink to decrease the impact of product recalls within its pharmacy operation. Recall InfoLink offers a patented, web-based product recall management platform designed to protect a brand’s image and bring value to all businesses involved in processing recalls. The platform improves efficiency by providing standardized messages, automated communications, inventory tracking and reports for compliance efforts.

“The safety and well-being of our pharmacy customers is our highest priority,” said Stewart Edington, VP of Pharmacy Operations at Albertsons, in a company press release. “Recall InfoLink’s system to process pharmacy recalls is easy to use and efficiently streamlines our [method of] contacting customers about recalls when the need arises. We are confident that our customers will appreciate our ability to quickly and efficiently reach them should a medication be recalled.”
