Commerce Signals Unveils Tracking Service For First-Party Data

Published: April 19, 2018

Commerce Signals has released a new tracking service designed to ensure the consistent management of consumer privacy and data across the marketing data supply chain.

The tracking service provides first-party data owners with resources to track data partners, control usage and set rules that can prepare brands for a dynamic consumer and regulatory environment. To get started, retail marketers can request an account, register their data partners and direct their partners using or sharing data to implement a simple notification.

Commerce Signals does not hold any consumer data, build audiences or sell advertising. As a third party, it holds agreements, permissions for use and mechanics of access. Marketers can use the platform to gain a greater view of where data is flowing and find a path to take ownership and control of their data

Commerce Signals connects advertisers and publishers directly, seeking to identify which addressable marketing tactics are delivering incremental sales in-store and online in real time.
