Finish Line, an omnichannel retailer of athletic apparel, will leverage retail solutions from Oracle to help optimize cross-channel operations, localize offerings and improve the customer experience across 640 stores and e-Commerce web site.
Finish Line will implement the Oracle Retail Merchandising Operations Management, Oracle Retail Merchandising Analytics, and Oracle Retail Merchandise Planning and Optimization modules. The company plans to use Oracle Retail Stores solutions to improve the in-store experience and bring new stores online faster, according to an Oracle press release. In addition, Finish Line will implement Oracle CRM to manage customer information, which will help drive merchandising decisions and improve the customer experience.
Finish Line selected the Oracle tools and a cloud computing environment “to provide a single, integrated platform with which to transform our merchandising, planning and stores processes,” said Scott Hoffman, Executive VP and Chief Merchandise Officer of Finish Line. “The ability to gain insight into our customers’ preferences to make more informed merchandising decisions is a critical component of our strategy to exceed the expectations of our customers.”
Finish Line also will implement the Oracle Exadata Database Machine and Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud to help maximize performance while reducing the costs and complexity of the IT infrastructure.
