Gourmet food brand Harry & David and personalization retailer Things Remembered — both part of the 1-800-Flowers.com portfolio of brands — plan to expand their retail presence this holiday season with pop-up shops across the country.

Harry & David Plans Standalone Pop-Ups, Macy’s Shop-in-Shops

Harry & David will launch five premium pop-ups in shopping centers in California (Westfield Galleria at Roseville and Westfield Century City), New Jersey (Westfield Garden State Plaza and The Mall at Short Hills) and Virginia (Tysons Corner Center). The pop-ups will begin opening in early September, with all five locations open by Oct. 8.

Harry & David also will return to select Macy’s locations with holiday pop-ups at the retailer’s South Coast Plaza location in Costa Mesa, Calif., its Del Amo Fashion Center store in Torrance, Calif. and the company’s Herald Square flagship in New York.

These pop-ups join Harry & David’s permanent retail locations in Long Island, N.Y. and Oregon. The Harry & David’s holiday stores will feature the brand’s most popular holiday gifts and entertaining staples, including its iconic Royal Rivera Pears, peppermint bark, pepper and onion relish, Moose Munch and more.

Things Remembered Returns to Brick-and-Mortar with California Pop-Up

Things Remembered will open its own seasonal pop-up at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, Calif. in September, marking the brand’s return to brick-and-mortar following the closure of its stores two years ago.

The store will feature live engraving stations, collections from brands including Waterford, Nambe and Georg Jensen, as well as its exclusive line of Vera Wang crystal. Things Remembered’s first influencer collaboration, Kittenish by Jessie James Decker, also will be featured in the pop-up along with a curated assortment of holiday gifts.

“There’s something magical that happens when consumers can touch, smell and truly experience our products in person,” said Adolfo Villagomez, CEO of 1-800-Flowers.com in a statement. “We build relationships through shared moments of selection, but we also understand that sometimes it is about that spontaneous decision to brighten your own day or add the perfect touch before guests arrive. The new retail locations are another way for us to meet consumers exactly where they are in their moment and help them express what matters most.”
