Some of Disney’s most beloved characters will be spreading holiday cheer in Los Angeles this November at the “Mickey & Friends Holiday Village” pop-up and seasonal marketplace. Inspired by the legendary mouse and his famous friends, the pop-up will feature products from more than 70 noteworthy collections, with brand partners like Baublebar, Forever 21, Loungefly, shopDisney and Stoney Clover Lane.
The pop-up village is designed to be an immersive and festive wonderland that includes holiday-themed gifts, treats and photo-ready backdrops. Visitors will have to register online to gain access to the pop-up, which will only be open Nov. 4-5 on Venice Boulevard. Key experiences and activations within the holiday village include:
- The Wintery Mickey & Friends Chalets, which will display the latest collections from select brand partners. Stoney Clover Lane will offer an exclusive holiday-inspired collection, only available for purchase at the Mickey & Friends Holiday Village and while supplies last.
- Mickey’s Magic Post Office, a seasonal interactive experience that will alert guests of a special holiday mail delivery.
- Mickey & Friends’ Holiday House, where visitors can stop and pose for a shareable Disney holiday-themed postcard.
- Chip n’ Dale’s Cocoa Caravan, which will have plenty of seasonal treats and drinks for sale.
- A hands-on demo area where shoppers can play Disney Illusion Island, a new game featuring Mickey and friends, exclusively available for the Nintendo Switch.
Although the physical pop-up is only open for a short time, Disney also is launching a digital version of the experience that will be open Nov. 4 to Jan. 7, 2024, so consumers can shop a broader selection of holiday products from brands like Aldo, Barefoot Dreams, Coach, Fossil and Hot Topic to find the perfect Disney-themed gifts for friends and loved ones.
