Hallmark is leaning into to its reputation as the home of cheesy-yet-irresistible holiday films, with plans for a new live experience at the Crown Center shopping center, located near its headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.
Every weekend from Nov. 29 through Dec. 23, 2024, fans will be able to visit the free, open-to-the-public experience, which will be designed to emulate the town square that often makes an appearance in Hallmark’s holiday films. Guests will be able to shop a Christmas market featuring exclusive Hallmark products as well as items from other seasonal merchants. The square also will include festive food, themed drinks, an ice skating rink, card-sending and gift wrap stations, a Crayola Community Mural, an interactive light walk and other photo ops, and nightly tree lightings featuring one of world’s tallest Christmas trees.
Fans can elevate their experience with exclusive ticketed activities, including talks and photo ops with Hallmark stars, workshops with Hallmark artists, elevated dining experiences, movie marathons and premieres, and breakfast with Santa. Tickets for the weekly events are on sale now, with VIP ticket packages limited in number.
“Creating ways to help people celebrate and connect is at the very core of our brand DNA at Hallmark, especially during the holiday season,” said Lindsey Roy, SVP of Brand Development at Hallmark in a statement. “We are so excited to bring this uniquely Hallmark experience to life and can’t wait to watch people find joy and make memories together.”
