Williams-Sonoma, Inc. has appointed Day Kornbluth as President of its West Elm brand. She will report directly to Williams-Sonoma President and CEO Laura Alber when she joins the company on April 3, 2023.
Kornbluth is a veteran of home retail, having held leadership positions at One Kings Lane and Restoration Hardware before her most recent role as Global Brand President of Ralph Lauren Home.
“The strength of the West Elm brand represents an incredible opportunity,” said Kornbluth in a statement. “I am thrilled to be joining this talented team and build on the strong foundations of this business to drive growth.”
In her new role, Kornbluth will work to expand West Elm’s brand reach while strengthening its core values of offering inspiring and sustainable product design at a great value.

West Elm is currently one of the strongest brands in the Williams-Sonoma portfolio, which also includes Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma and Mark and Graham. In the company’s Q3 2022, reported on Nov. 17, 2022, West Elm revenue was up 4.2% from the same quarter in 2021 to $600 million.
