Sephora Appoints CPG Veteran as CMO to Help ‘Shape the Future of Beauty’

Sephora has appointed Zena Srivatsa Arnold as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of its U.S. division, succeeding former CMO Deborah Yeh who transitioned to the role of Global Chief Purpose Officer in January.

Srivatsa Arnold comes to Sephora from PepsiCo, where she led the marketing teams for carbonated soft drinks, driving growth by targeting younger consumers. Prior to that she was the Chief Marketing and Chief Digital Officer at Kimberly-Clark where she led the global marketing teams and drove initiatives to accelerate the digital transformation of the company’s brands and businesses. Throughout her career she has also held leadership positions at Google, Kellogg Company and P&G.

“With a knack for disruption, Zena brings extensive experience in not only building and growing brands but driving initiatives that reach clients digitally,” reads a company post on LinkedIn. “We’re thrilled to have Zena bringing her expertise to Sephora and helping us shape the future of beauty.”

Srivatsa Arnold will officially join Sephora on May 22, 2023, and start at CMO in early summer.
